Andreea (left) is a 13-year-old girl from a small village in Romania. Every day, she wakes up early to fetch water for her family and takes care of her younger siblings while her mother works as they struggle to make ends meet.

Despite her bright smile, Andreea carries the heavy burden of poverty. It's a burden that grows heavier during the Christmas season as they see others celebrating and they do without.
